Project Description
The People agency association, an ally of ASviS, has been organizing since 2021, with the support of the Municipality of Crispiano, the first municipality in Puglia to join the Network of sustainable municipalities, the Sustainability Festival – Agenda 2030 in Puglia of one hundred farms, probably the largest initiative in Puglia to raise awareness and mobilize citizens, businesses, associations and institutions on the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability and achieve a cultural and political change that allows the territory, the Province of Taranto, Puglia and Italy to implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing together subjects from the economic and social world of the area.
The objective of the Festival is to spread the culture of sustainability, make sustainable development a topical issue and draw local and regional attention to the problems and opportunities connected to the achievement of the SDGs, thus contributing to bringing Puglia on a path of sustainability. Like every year, the Festival will be organized with the collaboration of the entire civil society: the program of initiatives, in fact, comes to life thanks to the commitment of citizens, associations, companies, local authorities and schools, who propose their ideas and who contribute to spreading the culture of sustainability through the Festival.
On Thursday 23 May 2024 at 4.30 pm at the “CARLO NATALE” LIBRARY – Via Roma, 9 the presentation of the “GREEN & SOCIAL HUB” project will be held with: VALERIO LUCCIARINI DE VINCENZI (ALI General Secretary); LUCA LOPOMO (Mayor of Crispiano); SIMONA SCARTON (Executive Manager of GSHUB project partner Leganet srl).
